About Public Service Promise
Public Service Promise was created to help more eligible borrowers successfully apply for The Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program.
The PSLF program is administered by the U.S. Department of Education and is designed to forgive the student loan balances of those employed by a government or non-profit organizations.
Public Service Promise works with nonprofit employers, membership organizations, and government entities to educate public servants about the process for obtaining student loan forgiveness.
Almost $70 billion has been forgiven through the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program, with the average relief of nearly $70,000, benefiting over 946,000 people, according to the Office of Federal Student Aid.
When someone is granted student loan forgiveness, the benefits are significant.
